At 26 storeys high, the C1 Tower on Gloucester Street will be the South Island’s tallest building. Along with offices and luxury apartments, C1 will be the location of the Rendezvous Hotel, an upmarket 4.5-star addition to Christchurch’s accommodation market.
As a large-scale project, we have been involved with C1 since the earliest plans were drawn, and have been consulted throughout the design-build phase to ensure that the rooms achieve the highest level of functionality and comfort. Gravity is proud to be the complete FFE supplier to this unique achievement.

Nomads World Queenstown internationally lifts the bar for backpacker accommodation. The project is testament to the increasing discerning taste of even the most basic travel requirements for accommodation.
Nomads World Queenstown is the best example available for market crossover catering for dorm-type rooms to private units, that easily profile to 3 star, with some very nice finishing touches. This means that from one location a variety of people from the budget backpacker, through to couples, groups or even the corporate traveller, are rubbing elbows in one exciting and aesthetically pleasing environment.
We really enjoyed this project, the client was forward thinking and high energy. Andy and Simon from MAP Architects in Christchurch were both extremely creative and fun to work with, developing a strong team environment.

This exciting development overlooking the Tasman Sea is an inspired addition to the West Coast town of Hokitika. With such a stunning location it was an easy decision to incorporate the colours and features of the environment into a spacious state-of-the-art hotel room.
Once again being involved from the planning stage allowed us to complete this fitout in a remote location, on time and within the client’s budget.

Set in the picturesque Butyl Park development, opposite Millbrook, Arrowfield Mews comprises 26 luxury three-bedroom, short-stay managed apartments.
Incorporating an indoor pool and gym complex, this project achieves coveted 5-star status through extensive luxury FFE fitout, while maintaining excellent budgetary results for the developer.
Involved from the concept stage, we used local interior design and New Zealand-made product where practical to achieve a luxurious finish that blends with the local surroundings and rich history of the area.
